Full Tesla Beach Buggy Racing video collection (#P47)

Look, I couldn’t be arsed to post something last week. Or the week before. So here it goes:

I’ve been making stupid videos on Youtube / for Youtube. 25+ to be precise, since I now have a full collection of ALL the tracks that can be played on every MCU2(+) Tesla there is (which, notably, excludes Elons space roadster orbiting us, since that doesn’t have a MCU nor a GPS fix to properly log into the game).
Back when being the first to ever run all 25 different tracks by visiting 25 specific superchargers around the country, I had to assume. I demonstrably was the first in the German TFF forum to do so and chances are I was among the very first world wide, but that’s an assumption. On Youtube, however, I don’t have to assume – I actually AM the first one to make a full list of these 25 tracks available to everybody. They aren’t without flaws, some early ones (Glacier Gulch!) didn’t even show all shortcuts, but they were there.

Full playlist is here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLWT3tfo2aBd6X27mmyOXV5ifUw0Z5o4nV

The list includes every of my record laps, currently excluding Scorching Sands and Emberhall, which is closely related to why I do have videos in the first place – I couldn’t beat the Scorching Sands record of my most active competitor, and since that supercharger is basically located on my way to work, I spent like five hours over the course of some weeks to beat that time. Getting more desperate, I started thinking about analyzing my laps, to see where I’m losing time…which directly led me to grabbing my tripod and my camera, and have a go.
Unfortunately, but that happens a lot, I then beat that time in a “just four runs to top up the battery” session and have no video footage of it . Emberhall was done before all that when I was forced™ to charge at a supercharger a bit further away, when the other local one was closed for V4 retrofit, and the Scorching Sands one was also closed while moving location inside of the 100+ charger area that is still under construction. That one also took a few hours, but when charging to very high SoC due to 2x 15min detour, that’s what you do. After beating the record, I went straight back to Stardew Valley :)

Here’s the current list of available record runs – I don’t think I’ll update these if future record runs merge into the playlist, so this is for reference only. On YT, these will move to the lesser playlist once a better one comes around.
Aquarius, 1:32.388 – Weiterstadt
Biodome Delta, 1:42.852 – Woringen

Dino Jungle, 1:18.284 – Wertheim
Dryptopia, 1:24.039 – Satteldorf
Emberhall, 1:35.839 – Wetzlar
Fiesta Village, 1:22.289 – Augsburg

Sun City Strip, 1:23.272 – Dettelbach
Tiki Temple, 1:13.403 – Frankfurt Airport
Tropic de Coco, 1:30.908 – Herrieden

So that’s currently 35:59.551 for all of them, minus the difference for Scorching Sands (1:16.564 vs. 1:20.506 shown) and Emberhall (1:30.287 vs. 1:35.839 shown), as discussed. Full video of all tracks is coming, and boy does it stretch Youtube’s definition of a “short” – since these fuckers will force-classify any portrait video as a short, no matter the duration…
