Car racing in stationary cars (#E25)
Well, it’s been a bit quiet here lately, as I went from very time-consuming car enjoyment at the very end of 2024 to very time-consuming car troubles at the very beginning of 2025. And while I can only share that the latter is FUCKING EXPENSIVE, I have a little more stuff on hand for the former. Since the battle for track times and fame in Beach Buggy Racing is currently flaring up in the German Tesla forum TFF, I thought taping a couple of runs would add value. So I went ahead and captured some…18 hours of it. To show off the best rounds (as there is very little content on Youtube), and to study things like item effects and the perfect racing lines (there’s none), and of course to compile dumb shit into funny videos. Because, let’s face it, when it comes to shaving off tenths of a second in RNG based maps, every successful attempt is accompanied by lots of failures.
And to make it all work, I created another Youtube channel for that kind of content, called Beach Buggy Burnouts. There’s only three (public) videos yet, but clearly those 18 hours of footage will yield some more. And people have already wasted six hours of their lives watching me going around in a circle for roughly a minute each. Judging by HOW people watch shorts, I have no regrets about that part either. It’s a crazy world of NPCs with attention spans between 20 and 40 seconds out there…
Not sure how that’ll keep me from posting all things electronics here in the near future – but after running this blog for over nine years now (WTF?), I’m ready to try something new.
